Review:

Like the cockroach that makes this film’s villain, it’s the franchise that doesn’t die. Why would it? Kids love the slapstick humor of the Minions, even if the rest of the film is as forgettable as any of the other sequels and spinoffs. It’s only at the end, when nearly every villain in the franchise makes an appearance, that you realize the franchise has been going on for a long time now. It feels like they’re running out of ideas, with an entire side plot ripping off Marvel (not that their recent films have been any better.) Hopefully it’s the last one.
