Review:

I don’t think I’ve seen anything has captured the isolation of travel this well. Maybe it’s because of all of the traveling I do, but it their depression radiates from the screen, and feels real. Bob doesn’t want to be in Tokyo, he’s just collecting a paycheck. I’ve been there. Charlotte’s experience isn’t living up to her expectations. I’ve been there too. Their companionship, based on loneliness and the desire to have someone to commiserate with, is a refreshing take for what would otherwise be considered a love story.
