Review:

Probably Mel Brooks’ best film, with a focus on the story and not simply setting up for the next joke. The faithfulness to the original is incredible, complete with actual set pieces and audio, and could label this as a sequel, instead of a spoof or remake. Gene Wilder’s decent into his destined madness is masterfully done.
